Survivor Connections

I define connection as the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship.
— Brené Brown

Realizing that we are not alone is an important milestone in the journey of recovery for survivors of Sexual Abuse.

Most Survivors find strength and comfort from others who can relate to their abuse and validate their experiences.

Support groups

Mutual support groups can provide crucial emotional support, information and resources to help survivors recover from the many challenges we face. A large part of our mission is to offer our own groups as well as full and partial scholarships to survivors so that they can attend ones that we have vetted.

We partner with Ruth Place, a community recovery center that addresses chronic and complex trauma rooted in repeated sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse, incest, and sexual trafficking.

Courageous Survivors offers an Online Group for women survivors of sexual trauma. This group meets Wednesdays, 5:30-7:00pm (AZ Time)The group is led by a licensed therapist and focuses on support, hope and healing. To join or get more details, contact janet@courageoussurvivors.org
