Sexual Trauma Support Groups

Connection is why we’re here; it is what gives purpose and meaning to our lives
— Brené Brown

Connecting with other survivors of sexual trauma is vital to healing from the on-going impacts of abuse. Participating in a support group provides survivors with an opportunity to be with others who have similar experiences and desires to heal from them. Courageous Survivors currently provides gender-restricted support groups for men and women survivors of sexual assault and abuse. The Sexual Trauma Support Groups are a virtual meeting that takes place weekly. Each group is limited to 10 attendees (plus the trained facilitator) to ensure that everyone gets an opportunity to participate. Courageous Survivors focuses on ensuring that attendees of the group sessions not only grow through the connection with other survivors but also through learning new tools and techniques for dealing with the day-to-day challenges of the legacy of sexual trauma.

Courageous Survivors Support Groups are free of charge but we ask all attendees to commit to attending.
