Happy Summer!

Summer has arrived in Arizona, along with the extreme heat! I hope everyone is finding ways to stay cool.

We are well into the planning of our Fourth annual Evening of Hope event. Save the date - Thursday, October 23, 2025. We have an early registration page open (link below). As we have learned from past years, we aim to make this the best event ever!

Courageous Survivors and MBH Onward currently partner to offer virtual support groups for female survivors of sexual trauma.

We currently offer two groups. One meets on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:00 pm., facilitated by Anne McQuaid, LPC.

The other meets on Tuesdays from 5:00 to 6:30 pm., facilitated by Janet Bentley.

If you or someone you know could benefit from these groups, we encourage you to visit our website or contact Janet at janet@courageoussurvivors.org as soon as possible, as they are filling fast.

We aim to start a group for male survivors of sexual abuse and will do so as soon as we receive enough interest and/or referrals.

There is healing in knowing you aren’t alone.

National Sexual Assault Conference 2025

August 26-28, the National Sexual Assault Conference will be held in Anaheim, California, at the Anaheim Marriott. Courageous Survivors will have a table this year, and we are excited to share our resources and reach more survivors! If you'll be near the conference area, please stop by and say hello!
